Welcome to my personal page

I am Satria Bagus Wicaksono, a Research Software Engineer at Hasselt University (IMOB). I build AI systems for traffic safety under the VITRONIC Research Chair. Most of my day involves computer vision work: object detection, tracking, camera calibration, and BEV analytics. Right now I’m focused on building AI agents that help humans review traffic violations more effectively.

About Me

I enjoy coding, solving problems, and shipping things that actually work. Before this role I spent 6+ years as a software engineer at Indonesian tech companies including Tokopedia, OY! Indonesia, and STOQO. That experience still drives how I work today. I prefer clean systems over clever ones, and I think good engineering habits matter just as much in research as they do in production.
